As mentioned from the previous post, Kanji symbols are the busy looking characters derived from Chinese. It is important to learn Kanji characters because it gives your the meaning of the word. In Japanese, there are many words that have the same pronunciations. For example, the word "kanji" can have several different meanings.
かんじ kanji ー 漢字 kanji (characters) ー 感じ kanji (feeling, sensation), and many more.
Not only that it helps you differentiate the meaning, once you can read Kanji, an all-hiragana sentence becomes difficult to read! :)
To start off, let's learn the most basic Kanji characters - the number 1-10 and some characters related to numbers.
